House Wires

Octacab house wires are insulated with special PVC compound, specially formulated to provide added safety. Octacab wires are energy efficient as only electrolytic copper conductors of 99.97% purity, having very low resistance are used thus ensuring low energy losses.

The size of the conductor is determined by its resistance. The construction of the conductor is as per market convention and should be treated as a guideline only, it may vary within the limits of IS 8130:1994 with its related classes and tables.

Flame Retardant (FR)

Octacab  UPT(Octacab Triple Protected) house wires are  insulated with flame retardant (FR) PVC compound, specially formulated to provide added safety. This FR PVC compound has a high oxygen and temperature index. These properties help in restring the spread of fire even at very high ambient temperatures. This special compound also offers high insulation resistance and dielectric strength.

 


FLAME RETARDANT LOW SMOKE(FRLS)

Octacab FRLS wires are insulated with FLAME RETARDANT LOW SMOKE PVC compound. Copper conductor,PVC insulated wires are extensively used in residential and commercial buildings. Octacab with its enhanced fire retardant properties of PVC adds special  additives in the formulation of this wire. Octacab wires have oxygen index of 30% which increases its efficiency in fire fighthin. Octact FRLS wires have a less than 60% of smoke density rating property with standard of ASTM D 2863. Octacab wires are energy efficient as only electrolytic copper of 99.97% purity having very low resistance are used thus ensuring low energy losses.


HRLF (Heat Resistant Lead Free)

Octacab HRLF (Heat Resistant Lead Free) wires are manufactured using a special PVC compound which is heat resistant & lead free, It is insulated and sheathed and completely safe for users as well as installers, Octacab wires are heat resistant, lead free,  non toxic and have capacity to bear 105’ C temperature. Octacab   wires are energy efficient as only electrolytic copper conductors of 99.97% purity having very low resistance are used thus ensuring low energy losses.


Zero Halogen Flame Retardant(ZHFR)

Octacab ZHFR Zero Halogen Flame Retardant wires are manufactured using a special Eva based compound which is zero halogen & flame retardant .  it is insulated completely safe for as well as wiring in all installations. Octacab wires are zero halogen flame retardant, smoke emission and nontoxic capacity to bear 80’C. Octacab wires are energy efficiat as only electrolytic copper conductors of 99.97% purity having very low resistance are used & ZHFR compound gives better insulation & electrical and properties for voltage rating 1100 V.
